If you need a little something to get you happy before the weekend (a long weekend in the U.S.), please comment with a page number between 1 and 611, and another number between 1 and 25, and I'll find out what the 14,000 Things To Be Happy About book has to offer you.

Happy Canada Day to our neighbors to the north!

I'll take page 417, and item number 11 please. And if that happens to be "receiving a closed submission request" then I'll let it go, as I already have one, and am thus happy beyond the moon already.

Go, you! And from the book, in an entirely different direction (unless there's one in your story):

"an old-fashioned soapstone griddle"

(I had to check twice to make sure that didn't say CHARGES that are reversible, which are pretty good, too.)

And Sir Dash gets:

Okay, wait. The one he picked has onions, and I can't allow a dog to have onions even if they're virtual (don't forget: I'm the Dog Nazi). So I went up a few items and found:

"newborn puppies with trip-over ears"

Just think of the things Dash could teach them!

Meanwhile, you get:

"smelling the bakery on your street"

mmmm.... while there is no bakery on my street.. I can smell burgers grillin from the Snug. .. and dash loves the smell of the barkery

Well, maybe you can homeschool yourself. First, find a Western Civilization textbook...

Re: des numbas
Peace

You get:

"one fantastic lover in college"

As for M and J Jackson, I only hope both find peace, 'cause I don't think either of them needs what the book has at those numbers.

I also think this is the first time I've ever used my peace user pic after uploading it months ago. (I found it somewhere on the Internet, but can't credit where because I failed to note it.)

P.S. I get Janet's (Rhythm Nation 1814, right?). But is Michael's that he died at age 50 in '09?

I'm very proud of that star, because numbers are not my strong suit!

Re: des numbas

Yeay!!!

(Math didn't make any sense to me until my final year in high school. The next thing i knew, I found myself tutoring math. Nowadays, I hardly use any of it, and it scares me that I would have to learn it all over again.
